Considering the significant number of migrants received by European Mediterranean countries, especially since the 2015 migration crisis, and recognising the fundamental role that Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) should play in the socio-economic integration of these communities, the partners involved in this project developed the STEAMigPOWER Programme. This programme includes an introductory component on Social Inclusion in the EU and Digital Storytelling, along with various STEAM courses focused on Environment and Fight against Climate Change, initially offered in person at the HEI project partners.
Through the development of this VLE platform, the consortium aims to make it globally accessible, providing these courses online to migrants worldwide. The consortium invites universities and other educational institutions to contribute to this learning platform by offering online courses in these or other relevant areas. If you represent an educational institution and wish to contribute to this cause, please
contact the project coordinator. If you are a migrant, refugee, or asylum seeker, we invite you to join these online courses and expand your knowledge in the fields offered here.
